Chicken Teriyaki

1 cup soy sauce
1/2 cup sugar
3/4 cup water
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 large clove garlic, minced
1 - 2 tsp. fresh minced ginger or 1/4 tsp. ground ginger
Chicken thighs

Mix all ingredients (except chicken) in bowl. Dip chicken in sauce and marinate as long as possible.

Bake 1 hour (in sauce) at 350ยบ, basting often.
