Mix together:
1 1/2 cup powdered sugar
1 cup margarine or butter
Add:
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp almond extract
Blend in:
2 1/2 cups flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp cream of tartar
Put in the refrigerator for 2-3 hours. Bake at 350° for 7-8 minutes. Do not overbake.
Frosting:
2 cups powdered sugar
1/4 cup margarine
1 tsp vanilla
2-3 Tbsp evaporated milk
